Apple TV+ & A24 asked us to create a young, vibrant identity for their movie The Sky Is Everywhere.

Lennie, the protagonist, is a teen musical prodigy grieving the death of her sister. Our approach was to create beautiful illustrations of musical instruments that each have subtle missing elements. As they animate, these pieces slowly fill in, becoming complete.

The sequence represents the healing process Lennie goes through over the course of the film.
